The "Venezillo parvus" Dalmatian Dwarf Isopods are well known to keep a vivarium and terrarium clean without becoming overwhelmingly noticeable in the environment.
This Dwarf Isopod species loves to hide and provide a healthy, bioactive setup within the living soil substrate. When disturbed, Venezillo parvus Isopods are easily spooked and curl into a classic "roly-poly" ball.
Remember, the goal when building a healthy living soil substrate is to focus on building diversity as much as possible.
A Dwarf Isopod species helps work in a symbiotic relationship with white springtails, rove beetles, and larger Isopod species.
